I caught Alex in the act, I never called him gay — Actor’s estranged fiancée, Fancy declares

There seems not to be an end in sight to the social media tirade and sex allegations rocking Alex Ekubo and his former lover, Fancy.

The problem started days back when Fancy publicly apologized to the actor for calling off their wedding only weeks to the D-day.

But after several online attacks from fans of Alex and the actor’s reply to the lengthy apology to Fancy’s apology, she withdrew the apology, saying she was deceived and manipulated by Alex to tender a public apology.

In a new twist to the unfolding drama, Fancy has come out to say she never opened up about her ex-fiance’s sexuality, saying she never in her apology said Alex is gay.

The former loverbirds broke up in January 2021, exactly a year ago and have stayed out of public glare until recently when Fancy tendered a public apology, saying “everyone should find their happiness and live in their truth”.

The quoted statement threw up another twist to the issue as many people suggested the message meant that the famous actor is a gay as she also claimed they never had sex for five years that they courted.

In a statement released on Friday, Fancy said: “My statement was that everyone should find their happiness and live in their truth;I didn’t say his truth. I am only speaking my truth because he wanted a public apology.

“The short and bold statement covered everything the lie that my relationship with him was the whole time.

“With my story, you can decide whatever you want to believe about him or not. My receipts are allowing me to speak and longer be meek.

“I am not trying to tarnish his image. I am only speaking my truth because he wanted this public apology to trend without telling the world the full story behind the scenes.

“I think he owes me a series of apologies from him but I doubt I would get that.”
