In a bid to boost community policing and enhance public trust, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has released contact numbers of all Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers across the nation’s capital.
FCT Police Commissioner Miller Dantawaye said the initiative aligns with his strategic vision to foster stronger police-community collaboration, promote transparency, and ensure swift response to security concerns.
Dantawaye, in a statement released on Thursday, December 11, sent to Persecondnews by the command’s Spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, stressed that bringing the leadership of the Command closer to residents will not only enhance trust but also reinforce the collective fight against crime within the Territory.
“The FCT Police Command, in its unwavering commitment to deepen community policing, strengthen public confidence, and improve real-time communication with residents, has released the official contact numbers of all Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers across the Federal Capital Territory.



“The Commissioner of Police, FCT Command, Miller G. Dantawaye, stated that this initiative aligns with his strategic vision to foster stronger police–community collaboration, promote transparency, and ensure swift response to security concerns.
“He emphasized that bringing the leadership of the Command closer to residents will not only enhance trust but also reinforce the collective fight against crime within the Territory,” it stated.
