Tinubu Begins Three-Week Working Vacation in Europe

President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Sunday for Europe to begin a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave.

The President’s first destination will be London, United Kingdom, according to a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Onanuga said the trip would be a working vacation, with the President expected to return to Nigeria at the end of the three-week break.

Upon his return, Tinubu is expected to join campaign activities ahead of the January 2027 election.

The statement was issued on August 30, 2026.
