Victor Osimhen’s Stunning Hat-Trick Propels Galatasaray to Resounding 4-0 Victory

Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen was in scintillating form on Friday night, netting a hat-trick as Galatasaray thrashed Antalyaspor 4-0 in a Turkish Süper Lig match.

The victory solidified Galatasaray’s position at the top of the league standings, with Osimhen’s impressive performance boosting his season tally to 20 league goals in 22 appearances.

Osimhen opened the scoring in the 30th minute, converting an assist from Álvaro Morata.

Morata doubled the lead with a penalty in the 45th minute, and Osimhen struck again just three minutes later, assisted by B. Yılmaz.

The Nigerian striker completed his hat-trick in the 52nd minute, with Y. Akgün providing the assist.

Since joining Galatasaray on loan from Napoli, Osimhen has been in phenomenal form, amassing 26 goals and 5 assists across all competitions in 30 appearances.

His impressive performance has been a key factor in Galatasaray’s dominant display in the league with the team maintaining an unbeaten record with 21 wins and 5 draws.

The victory extends Galatasaray’s lead at the top of the Süper Lig standings to 71 points, bolstering their pursuit of the league title.

Osimhen’s form is also a welcome boost for the Nigerian national team with the Super Eagles set to face Rwanda and Zimbabwe in upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
