Just in: Seven new ministers take oaths of office

President Bola Tinubu has sworn in seven newly appointed ministers, directing them to immediately focus on the administration’s agenda and goals.

The Council Chambers of Aso Rock Villa hosted the swearing-in ceremony on Monday, according to Persecondnews.

The State House Director of Information, Abiodun Oladunjoye, read their citations before the ministers took the oath of office in two batches: four in the first batch and three in the second.

The ministers and their portfolios are:

Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi, Labour and Employment, Mrs. Bianca Odinaka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, (Minister of State) Foreign Affairs, and Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Industry, Trade and Investment.

Others are Mr. Idi Mukhtar Maiha, Livestock Development and Mr. Yusuf Abdullahi Ata (Minister of State), Housing and Urban Development as well as Dr. Suwaiba Said Ahmad, (Minister of State) Education.
