A mysterious fire has hit three radio stations in Abia in Abia State, leaving in its trail the destruction of electronic broadcasting equipment worth millions of naira.
The fire that occurred on Saturday night affected Enyimba 94.3 FM, Rose 101.9 FM, and Legend 98.3 FM, located in the same building on the PZ axis of Aba-Owerri Road.
The prompt intervention of the officials of the Abia State Fire Service prevented the fire from spreading to other buildings within the vicinity.
However, the raging inferno claimed no lives.
A senior official of the Fire Service advised on owners of factories and companies to procure fire extinguishers and hydrants for quick response in future.
