Pastor Abiodun Olusanya, the Pastor of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), City of David, in the city of Beltsville, state of Maryland in the United States, has commended the pledge and commitment of the leadership and church members to the church building project, describing it as a testament to their faith, dedication, and devotion to God’s work.

Olusanya spoke on the occasion of the church’s 10th anniversary celebration on Sunday in Beltsville, Maryland.

Impressed by the anniversary’s resounding success, Pastor Olusanya expressed his deepest and most profound gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to everyone who contributed to making it a huge success.

Of note, the pastor described the Organizing Committee members as truly selfless and amazing, noting that their tireless efforts, meticulous planning, and selfless dedication were evident in every aspect of the celebration.

Olusanya pointed out that their commitment to excellence honoured God and inspired all the attendees at the anniversary celebration.

He noted that the church leadership and minsters’ prayers, vision, guidance, and leadership have been instrumental in shaping the church into a vibrant community of believers.

He said:“My deepest and most profound gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you for making our 10th year anniversary celebration a resounding success.

“The Organizing Committee members are truly selfless and amazing! Your tireless efforts, meticulous planning, and selfless dedication were evident in every aspect of the celebration. Your commitment to excellence honoured God and inspired all who attended the celebration yesterday.

“The church leadership and minster’s prayers, vision, guidance, and leadership have been instrumental in shaping our church into a vibrant community of believers.

“Your unwavering commitment to God’s mission is a beacon of hope, faith and made the church to be spiritually purpose-driven and Christ-centred.

“All the church workers truly put in their very best into the celebration. Your sacrifices, time, and energy invested in serving God are a demonstration of your faith, obedience, and the true spirit of Christianity. You are indeed the hands and feet of Jesus.

“And to each and every one of us, our presence, participation, and enthusiasm made the celebration truly special. Your pledge and commitment to the church building project are a testament to your faith, dedication, commitment, and devotion to God’s work.’’

Pastor Olusanya prayed that the good Lord, who is a great rewarder, would bless and reward their efforts and labours of love in His vineyard, as well as strengthen their faith and resolve.

He also prayed to God for more wisdom and guidance for the church leaders, to unite everyone in love and purpose, to prosper the church building project, and to make it a reality.

“My prayers for everyone of us are that the good Lord, who is a great rewarder, blesses and rewards your efforts; strengthens your faith and resolve; grants more wisdom and guidance to our leaders; unites us all in love and purpose; prospers the church building project and makes it a reality.

Quoting from Psalm 138:8 in the Holy Bible, “The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever; forsake not the works of thine own hands,” the pastor also poured out his heart, saying,“Our God continue to bless, guide, and prosper each and everyone of us and the City of David Church in Jesus Christ’s name.’’
