Kogi L-PRES Coordinator felicitates Ododo on victory in Saturday’s Kogi guber poll

According to the Project Coordinator, the victory is coming at time when the state needed a tested and trusted man that will sustain the legacies of the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello.

Kogi State Coordinator of Livestock Productivity and Resilience Support Project (L-PRES), Dr. Olufemi Bolarin has congratulated the State Governor-Elect, Usman Ododo, on his victory in last Saturday’s governorship election.

Bolarin in a statement given to Persecondnews in Lokoja, said the victory is cheering and a clear indication that the “Kogi agenda” has come to stay.

According to the Project Coordinator, the victory is coming at time when the state needed a tested and trusted man that will sustain the legacies of the administration of Gov. Yahaya Bello.

“On behalf of the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), I wish to congratulate His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ododo, the Kogi State Governor-Elect and the Deputy Governor-Elect, Comrade. Joel Oyibo on their well deserved victory at the November 11 governorship election in the state.”

Applauding the election as peaceful, free and credible, he urged other contestants to accept the result as an act of God because only Him gives power.

Bolarin also congratulated Gov. Yahaya Bello on the successful conduct of the election and described him as a game changer.

While expressing confidence in the incoming successor of Bello, he assured that his office will continue to add value to the state particularly in the agricultural sector.

“More importantly, Catalytic Intervention Projects on Livestock Productivity and support to the value-chain actors as well as agricultural institutions to enhance sustainable food security in the state,” he said.
