A 26-year-old side chick, Precious Ahanonu, is now cooling her heels in police cell in Lagos for attacking and pouring boiling water on her married lover’s wife.

Precious is currently being quizzed at the Ikotun Divisional Police headquarters in Alimosho area of Lagos.

Precious carried out the dastardly act at Okerube in Abaranje area of Ikotun, Lagos after 33-year-old Mrs Adeola Moshood, who is reported to be in critical condition at Gbagada General Hospital, Lagos, discovered she was having an affair with her husband.

Persecondnews gathered that the husband, Aremu Moshood, had established a fish pond and employed Precious to manage it.

After a while, Moshood allegedly started having an affair with Precious, to the extent of renting a one bedroom apartment for her without the knowledge of his wife, where he regularly visited her secretly.

Moshood’s business was reported to have folded, which made him unable to pay the house rent of where he lived with his wife and three children at Ikotun/Igando Road, and was evicted by his landlord as a result.

Persecondnews further gathered that Moshood moved his wife and children to the house he had rented for his mistress, to live temporarily until he gets another apartment.

While living there, his wife discovered that he was sleeping with Precious and even the person paying the house rent.

This caused animosity and constant fight between Precious and Mrs. Moshood, which prompted Precious to boil water and pour it on Mrs. Moshood while she was sleeping at 1.00am for being an ‘obstacle’ to their affair.

Meanwhile, Precious has been transferred to the State Criminal and investigation Department (SCID), Panti, Yaba.

It was learnt that on conclusion of investigation, she may be charged with attempted murder and assault.
