Chelsea win the Champions League

Chelsea football club have won the UEFA Champions League for the second time in their history as a Kai Havertz goal was enough to see off Manchester City 1-0.

City went into the all-English final as favourites given how they cantered to the Premier League title, but Pep Guardiola’s decision to name an attacking lineup with no obvious holding midfielder backfired at Estadio Do Dragao.
