NCAA Suspends Azman Air Operations Amid Safety Audit

The Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, NCAA on Tuesday suspended with immediate effect operations of the Azman airline.

The NCAA said following series of safety incidents involving the airline, especially its Boeing 737 aircraft.

The audit is to enable the authority conduct an audit of the airline to determine the root causes of incidents and correct or forestall re-occurrence.

The airline earlier this morning said it was suspending operations to maintain its fleet.

Per Second News in a report recently revealed the age of all registered aircraft of Azman Air with the average being 22 years old.
