ABUJA: Former minister of education Dr Oby Ezekwesili was harassed Tuesday in Abuja by some security operatives.

In Photos gone viral in social media, the men hurled indecent comments towards her and had altercations with her, said a witness.

The operatives forcefully took her protest materials.

Ezekwesili had on Monday said she will lead a protest against the evil killings in Plateau state.

” I shall MARCH tomorrow to the Villa to protest the latest BESTIAL . I believe in the Power of One Citizen to STAND UP AGAINST ANY EVIL in their society & DEMAND ACCOUNTABILITY. I DON’T WANT MORE KILLINGS. 12 noon, I SHALL MARCH, she said on her twitter handle.

More than 1,000 people have been killed since the start of the year, making herdsmen killings more deadly than the insurgency waged by the Boko Haram militant group.
