Boko Haram overruns Nigerian Military, seize weapons, kill scores of soldiers

Per Second News---Boko Haram militants swept through a town in Borno state in a  renewed display of dominance, killing soldiers and looting weapons stores belonging to the Military, according to residents.

 

The sect have been moving to exert their authority over remote-held areas in the state since the military took control of most of their hideouts. 

Premium Times is also reporting that the terrorists carted away 16 AK47 rifles, one HF radio, two rocket-propelled grenades, two 60MM mortals and all the reserved ammunition and drugs in the base.

"The Nigerian troops fought back gallantly, but were dislodged from their location after about an hour of fierce battle, the newspaper said.
