South Africa embassy in Lagos use syndicates to defraud us, applicants cry out.

Per Second News----No fewer than 300 visa applicants to the South African Embassy in Lagos have decried the use of syndicates by the embassy to defraud them.

Dozens of applicants, who spoke to Per second News on Monday in Lagos, said they were scheduled to participate in the LoveWorld Festival of Music and Arts in Johannesburg.

The applicants alleged that an official of the Embassy instructed them to forward their applications only through their syndicates in Lagos or in Abuja.

``The official told us that our applications will not be treated except for applications submitted by one Dupe Tubo in Lagos and one Jacinta Aideyan in Abuja.

``He claimed that the two persons are members of the Christ Embassy Church in both locations,’’ they alleged.
.
Mr Kennedy Chimaobi, a spokesperson for the group of visa applicants revealed that most of the traveling agencies do process each application between N50,000
and N55,000, while the syndicates process the same application between N90,000 and N120,000.

The embassy did not respond to text messages from this media office.

The event is scheduled from April 27 to April 30 is organised once in two years by Believers LoveWorld Incorporated in South Africa.
