Corona Schools Appoints New CEO in latest post- crisis shake-up

The board of Corona Schools Trust has announced the appointment of Mrs. Adeyoyin Adesina as its new Chief Executive Officer, Per Second News exclusively gathered over the week-end

According to a circular signed by Mr. Adedotun Sulaiman and forewarded to members of staff, Mrs. Adesina's start date will be 1st April, 2017.

The schools board has struggled to restore an image tarnished by a raft of regulatory and financial problems which include probes into activities of former CEO.

She has however commenced understudying at the head office in Ikoyi, according to findings by this media outfit.

Adesina takes over from the disgraced Olufunto Igun. Per Second News in 2016 exposed the rot in the Corona schools under the leadership of Olufunto Igun, prompting investigations that revealed series of fraudulent activities by Mrs Igun.

External auditors in their report also confirmed Per Second News findings.

Likewise, Mrs. Oluwadamilola Chinedum is taking over from Mrs. Adesina, as the new principal in Corona Secondary School, Agbara.
